Privacy policy
- Effective date:

- Data controller:

- No account:
- The app does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number.
- No server:
- Everything you enter (your quit date, smoking habits, notes, and records) is stored only on your phone. It is not sent to us or anyone else.
- Encryption:
- Records are encrypted on your phone using AES-256. The encryption key is kept in your phone’s secure key store and never leaves the device.
- No analytics or ads:
- The app has no advertising, tracking, or usage analytics tools.
- Permissions (both optional):
- notifications (for reminders); photos (only if you choose a profile photo; the photo stays on your phone).
- Third parties:
- Your information is not shared with anyone. The App Store and Google Play may collect download and payment information under their own privacy policies.
- Deletion:
- You can delete all records from your phone using “Settings › Delete my data” in the app, or by uninstalling the app. Nothing is stored on a server, so no other steps are required.
- Age:
- Nefse is not designed for people under 18.

- If new features (e.g. a community) are added, the policy will be updated and the date will change.
